I think it start by now, calling more people to join this network to enable to share more experience how it work in Developed area.
There are lot of issues that does not help the Local Government in developing countries work, but the major one is CORRUPTION, the level of the corruption in Local government authority by the politician and the civil service commission in Local Government.
Despite the increase in the total amount of funds available to local government in Nigeria since early 1990s, its economic and financial profile is still very poor, relative to the development programme it is expected to carry out. This situation is not unconnected to the mismanagement and embezzlement of these funds by the local councils.
