    Starting from 29th – 31st March, 2010 a training workshop was conducted in Haa Dzongkhag with support of LDD under GNHC and Royal Institute of Maangment along with Dzongkhag officials to develop a vision and strategies for Haa Dzongkhag.

    Local government in the past has worked without a common direction and the such expereinces demanded a policy in place which gives us a clear direction and issue was rasied in Annual Dzongdag’s conference to come up with Rural Econmoy Development Policy.

    The training was successfully conducted and the Dzongkhag came up with draft Vision ” A Green Dzongkhag with peaceful and productive community, promoting equatable and sustainable development inharmony with culture and traditions”.

    In course of time, the vision and strategies will be further refined and put up to Dzongkhag Tshogdu (DT) and get the endorsement and become guiding documents for the Dzongkhag.
