As an intern, Farouk supports the Scholarships team in assessing applications. He also assists the team with logistics and internal administrative tasks. Before joining the Hague Academy, Farouk interned at the T.M.C. Asser Institute in The Hague, where he worked on the development of human rights and counterterrorism-related interactive content. He also has work experience in the field of migration (forced displacement and asylum). Farouk holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Pécs in Hungary, and he speaks Arabic, and English, and has a B1 level in Dutch.
