Jan Rustemeyer

Jan works on the logistics and development of open and tailor-made trainings. He also supports the acquisitions and communications teams. Prior to joining The Hague Academy, he worked at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research in Uppsala, Sweden and at the Peace Research Institute Oslo. There, his research examined the dynamics between political violence and democracy and the role of protests in autocracies. Jan is passionate about ways to promote local democratisation. He holds an MSc in Peace and Conflict Studies from Uppsala University.
