Astrid contributes to different communication tasks at The Hague Academy. She supports social media management and the maintenance of the organisation’s customer relations database and audiovisual archive. Astrid obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Geography, Sociology and Political Science at the University College Roosevelt Middelburg. She holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies, with a specialisation in Conflict and Peace Studies from the Erasmus University Rotterdam. She is interested in topics ranging from social justice and change to sustainable peacebuilding, climate justice and gender empowerment.
