Christy assists in the development and logistics of online and live training programmes. She also supports various administrative and communication tasks. Christy grew up in Merida, Mexico and moved to The Hague for her studies in 2021. She is passionate about migration, international cooperation, rule of law, conflict resolution and ensuring everyone has equal access to human rights. Christy has a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and studied for six months at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences in Granada, Spain. She is completing a Master’s programme in Development Studies with a major in Governance of Migration and Diversity and a specialisation in Public Policy and Management at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Before joining the Hague Academy, she interned at Mexico’s National Migration Institute, collaborated in governmental migration-related campaigns in Mexico and was a communication and outreach officer in the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus (LDE) Student Board.
