Floris is an experienced manager in both hospitality & retail and has been responsible for HR in both sectors. As team manager HR and support, he is part of the management team and responsible for the back office dealing with human resources, logistics and administration. Floris is passionate about coaching and developing his team to help them get the most out of themselves. With his background in HR and hospitality, he contributes to The Hague Academy’s policies and practices with a client-oriented approach, intercultural sensibility and a focus on inclusion & diversity. Prior to joining The Hague Academy, Floris worked as a People Leader at Apple and before that in Food & Beverage Management in luxury hotels. He studied International Hospitality Management in Leeuwarden, did part of his studies in Portugal and South Africa, and completed a post-bachelor study in Human Resources Management.
