As an intern, Hannah works on the logistics and development of open and tailor-made training programmes. Prior to joining the Academy, she obtained a bachelor’s in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Erasmus University Rotterdam with a Major in International Relations. During this time, she also obtained a minor in Global Poverty and Local Solutions from the Institute of Social Studies in The Hague, which introduced her to the power of local government approaches. Afterwards, she set out to do a master’s in Human Rights and Democratisation at the Global Campus of Human Rights. During this period, she lived in Venice, Italy and Nicosia, Cyprus, where her research focused on the role of women in peace processes. Hannah is passionate about conflict resolution, mediation, and peacebuilding.
