Isla is currently an intern at The Hague Academy. She recently graduated from the University of Amsterdam with a BSc in Politics, Psychology, Law & Economics (PPLE), with a focus on Political Science. Originally from England, she grew up in Italy and The Hague, attending both local and international schools. This gave her intercultural communication skills and a passion for connecting with others regardless of differing perspectives and experiences. Her academic interests range from gender studies to the role of culture in shaping politics, and she has experience in research and editorial work. She shares The Hague Academy’s aim of international understanding and cooperation for pursuing shared goals, whilst tailoring implementation to local contexts.
