Job is a programme manager and inclusive governance trainer with extensive experience in fragile and post-conflict settings. He is responsible for the development and implementation of training programmes in the areas of inclusive governance, local economic development and gender. Job holds a Master’s Degree in International Public Management, specialised in the Middle East and economic development from Sciences Po Paris (Institut d’études Politiques Paris). He currently manages two open training programmes at The Hague Academy, including the Local Economic Development and Gender Responsive Governance training. Beyond that, he is involved in a five-year programme on disability inclusion in local decision making in Sudan, and the Dan Wadaag programme in Somalia together with VNG International on inclusive Disaster Risk Management (DRM). Prior to joining The Hague Academy, he worked as emergency preparedness and response coordinator for a Humanitarian INGO, in countries such as Yemen, Mozambique, Cameroon, Pakistan and Myanmar. He speaks fluent Dutch, English, French and is a keen learner of Spanish too.
