Roxanne Le Failler recently joined The Hague Academy as Programme Manager. She is experienced in designing and delivering learning and training on Systems Thinking, Governance, and Partnerships for Sustainable Development at the United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC). Prior to UNSSC, Roxanne contributed to the Global Programme on Informality with Cities Alliance, a global network hosted by UNOPS focusing on assessing and addressing what begets urban poverty, mainly in Africa and Asia. She coordinated knowledge exchanges, South-South cooperation partnerships, and facilitated activities with the community of practice. Previously, she also worked for 5 years at the UN-Habitat Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean in Brazil as Programme Advisor.
Roxanne holds two Masters’ degrees: in Metropolitan Governance from the Urban School of Sciences Po Paris; and in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability from the Blekinge Institute of Technology, in Sweden. She speaks fluently Portuguese, French, English and Spanish. Her aim is to support a policy-led societal transition towards environmental and social sustainability through training, facilitation, coaching and collaborative practices.
