Why support Talent for Governance?
Local governments have a huge impact on the life of people everywhere in the world. However, in many parts of the world, people working for local government work under difficult circumstances. There’s a lack of resources, corruption, and huge unemployment and poverty in their community. Their organisations often lack qualified staff and financial resources needed to deal with these challenges.
Luckily, in every municipality, there are young, ambitious civil servants who strive for better services and the development of their community. Talent for Governance supports them by providing opportunities for knowledge exchange and training so that they can develop their skills and realise their ambitions.
By donating a part of the costs of one Talent-programme, you become a friend of Talent for Governance. If you fund the costs of one complete programme, you will be a partner of Talent for Governance.
