Mariia provides support to trainings at The Hague Academy for Local Governance. She holds a BA in International Studies from Leiden University and an LLM in Public International Law from the University of Amsterdam, with a strong focus on European migration law, international refugee law, and the intersection of trade and environmental law.
Prior to joining The Hague Academy, Mariia worked at several Dutch NGOs assisting refugees. She would like to further specialise in these fields and gain more experience in local governance.
