The Hague Academy organises Training of Trainers courses, equipping professionals giving workshops and trainings with the tools to facilitate meaningful change.

Designing and delivering training in international contexts comes with unique challenges, such as complex governance structures, political sensitivities, different levels of experience, cultural backgrounds, and expectations. To meet our clients needs, we offer Training of Trainer courses as stand-alone courses or integrated into tailor-made programmes (customised training). Individuals can also attend the course as part of our open course catalogue.
Our Training of Trainers is ideal for staff involved in organising and delivering trainings and workshops, including trainers, programme managers, capacity-strengthening specialists, and HR professionals from donors, NGOs, governments, CSOs, universities and businesses working in international settings.
Built on years of experience working in diverse international contexts, our training programmes address the unique governance challenges faced by local institutions. We have also trained groups consisting of participants from multiple countries and backgrounds, ensuring that our methods are adaptable and inclusive.
Our team develops and implements several multi-annual training of trainers programmes and curricula, equipping trainers with the skills and knowledge necessary to facilitate impactful learning experiences. Furthermore, we support training institutes worldwide in the development of their curricula and training of trainers.
In the past years, we have developed and delivered Training of Trainers for:
Our unique position stems from our ability to combine international best practices with hands-on experience in a wide range of governance contexts. By sharing these experiences with participants, we provide valuable insights into designing and delivering training that is action-oriented, culturally sensitive, and strategically effective.
All our courses combine practical application, ensuring that training methodologies are theoretically sound but also effective in real-world scenarios.
Our training approach fosters peer learning, encouraging participants to exchange knowledge and experiences, further enriching the learning process.
