Albanian, Serbian and Turkish civil servants discussing public security

From 15-17 April, senior civil servants from Albania, Serbia and Turkey came together in Ankara to exchange knowledge on issues of public security, human rights and integrity and anti-corruption.

The workshops were characterised by a friendly atmosphere, frank discussions and a realisation of common problems as well as a shared drive for positive change. As one participant said “It is not important that we have different system and institutions, what is important is the intention to ensure that these work in a participatory and inclusive manner”.

This exchange activity was part of the project: Matra CoPROL: Leadership for security and rule of law, financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. For more about the Matra CoPROL programme, click here.
