Today, the Members of Emergency Situation Headquarters of the Municipality of Kladovo in Serbia participated in a disaster simulation. Here, under considerable time pressure, they had to formulate response to a complex combination of a large forest fire and a tragic bus accident.
This simulation is a part of the piloting of a training on Municipal Emergency Response, developed by the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities Serbia, with support of The Hague Academy. The training aims to improve the municipal responses to emergency situations, such as the terrible floods which ravaged by Serbia in 2014. This activity is part of the MATRA CoPROL ‘‘Leadership programme for Security and Rule of Law’, implemented in cooperation with VNG International.
We offer a diversity of courses throughout the year. Here are several other courses you might like.
