The first two participants this year of our Talent programme, Talent for Governance, will be participating in our training course Citizen Participation and Inclusive Governance which starts on Monday the 23rd of May. After this two-week training they will both visit a Dutch municipality for a short internship programme.
Talent Maggie Lourdes Escobar Cadillo is from San Juan de Miraflores in Peru. She works as a environmental management assistant on creating a better living environment for and with the people in her municipality. She will visit the Dutch municipality of Heerlen.
Erkinbek Kamalov is a young talented civil servant working for the municipality of Masy in Kyrgyzstan. As a community mobilization officer he tries to involve people in decision making, project implementation and budget process, especially focussing on involving women and young people. The Dutch municipality of Gemert-Bakel will welcome him for a short internship.
