On the occassion of the 100th anniversary of the Association of Netherlands Municipalities (VNG), VNG-staff started a campaign to support young talent at local authorities in developing countries.
The VNG-staff members came up with several ideas to collect money for Talent for Governance, the Dutch charity for and by local authorities. Some will sell second hand stuff on Queens Day in Amsterdam on April 30th, others will organise an auction. The money will be used to expand the Talent for Governance Network and to offer young talents at local authorities in development countries a change for training and internships in The Netherlands.
