Project Management Dutch Caribbean

The programme “Caribbean Exchange Facility” took place in 2023 and 2024 and provided assistance to the six Caribbean islands through concrete technical capacity, coaching, or advice in the areas of governance and management in a broad sense. This ranged from, for example, public services, spatial planning, and digitization issues to financing in the social domain, among others.

The Hague Academy provided coaching to the interns selected through this programme. We delivered, among other things, the following outcomes:

• Training day at the beginning of the internship, during which the interns formulated their learning objectives and discussed how these can be achieved during the internship;
• Wrap-up & Learning/Back to Home day at the end of the internship, with a focus on follow-up: how to apply what you have learned and take it into your own work upon return.
