Energy Transition and Efficiency in Oman

The training on “Energy Transition and Efficiency in Oman” took place in 2023 in Oman. Staff members from the Authority of Public Services of Oman followed a tailor-made training aimed at providing the participants with increased knowledge and skills related to strategic planning and priorities in sustainable energy transition and public policy design for sustainable energy applications.

Specifically, the Authority of Public Services of Oman aimed to improve its capacity in the areas of green energy adaptation, public policy design in relation to renewable energy and the energy transition, as well as promoting energy efficiency.

The beneficiaries were fifteen staff members from the Authority for Public Services Regulation, as well as specialists from the Ministry of Energy and the government planning unit “Vision 2040”.
