Shiraka Ecosystems for Entrepreneurs 2023

The training aimed to raise awareness among civil servants in Morocco and Tunisia of their role in fostering an environment that encourages entrepreneurship. Through training, the project aims to develop the knowledge and skills that help them promote measures for a favourable business climate.

By designing and implementing concrete action plans, these change agents took the first steps towards a better ecosystem for entrepreneurship in their countries. Beneficiaries of the programme are mostly civil servants and entrepreneurs.

The programme consisted of six phases, with the aim of designing, developing, and implementing action plans to collectively work on building a better ecosystem for entrepreneurs. This includes training for practitioners and experts, study visits to relevant organisations, and intensive coaching and guidance to develop and implement action plans.

This project is funded by Shiraka, a programme commissioned by the Netherlands’ Ministry of Foreign Affairs and implemented by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).
