Training of Trainers – City of Ulaanbaatar

The “Training of Trainers” programme for the City of Ulaanbaatar took place in 2022. The objective was to provide tailor-made training-of-trainers for officials in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. This was a one-week training which will be followed up with support (training manual, refining the training material to the Mongolian context, with both local and international practice.

The beneficiaries were civil servants from the Capital City of Ulaanbaatar. Officials were drawn from all municipal sectors and intergovernmental participants with a direct interest or contribution to the activities of the municipalities.

The programme included sessions on civic engagement, participatory budgeting, local economic development, and smart technology to streamline the municipal activities under the related topics. The follow-up activities included refining the presentations to better align with the Mongolian context, as part of the training assessment during the second training.
