Urban Development Training for KSU

The objective of the “Training Urban Development 2022” programme was to increase knowledge and skills about international frameworks and Dutch practices in Urban Governance and Local Development.

The beneficiaries of the program were 50 participants studying at King Saud University and working as executives in the Ministry and municipal leaders in Saudi Arabia. The two-week training programme consisted of interactive lectures and study visits on the following topics:

• Integrated Urban Strategies,
• Participatory and Inclusive Urban Design,
• Tools for Transparency and Accountability, and
• The Policy Cycle.
