Last month we met many of our alumni in regional networking receptions in Turkey, Albania, Macedonia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. We were very pleased to hear that many former partipants are using the knowledge and experiences gained in The Hague in their daily work. Especially interesting was the success Macedonian colleagues of the border police shared: they managed to decrease the waiting time at the border from 3-4 hours to maximum 15 minutes, and with this also possibilities for bribery. Additionally, in Albania and Macedonia, our integrity expert Henk Bruning presented his new book ‘To be honest…’, a practical handbook covering practically all sides of integrity.
