From 19 to 27 June, The Hague Academy for Local Governance received a group of 12 participants from the Lebanese Ministry of Social Affairs and actively working at the central and local level to manage and implement social development projects. The projects target both Lebanese citizens and Syrian refugees and cover fields such as health, education, vocational training, and volunteer work.
The participants followed a professional training of trainers in Inclusive Governance and Leadership and worked on developing proposals for back home action plans that will be presented to their ministry.
This tailor-made training was part of the Capacity Development Programme – Lebanon managed by Nuffic and funded by the Dutch ministry of Foreign affairs. Learn more about tailor-made training opportunities from The Hague Academy for Local Governance.
