Training of Trainers: Blue Deal

The Hague Academy for Local Governance together with its partner Culture-Inc. was requested to provide a Training of Trainers (ToT) to the staff of the Dutch Water Boards. This was done through a series of one-day training workshops, each targeting different groups of people.

Main goal

The training programme was aimed at increasing the capacities of the Dutch Water Boards staff to transmit knowledge and skills in an international context.

Objectives

• Explain the tasks associated with the different phases of the training cycle;
• Effectively organise a training workshop, from start to finish; and
• Design and deliver a basic training session.
